The Marathon course consists of two loops, basically doing the half-marathon twice with a short out & back section.

The Half Marathon conists of a single loop, with a short out & back section at the approximate half way point.

The 5K is a straight out & back course with the same Start and Finish lines used for the Marathon.

Course Time Limit: The time limit is (6) six hours for the marathon and (4) four hours for the half marathon. The course will close on a rolling schedule, with the finish line closing at 1:00 p.m. This means that marathon runners must be able to sustain a pace of approximately 13:45 per mile in order to finish ahead of the course closure.

Under no circumstances may participants be on the course before the official start time. Beginning before the official start time will result in disqualification. If participants choose to continue running after the course closes, they do so at their own risk and will be asked by the Marion County Sheriff's Office to move off the streets. No times are recorded for half marathoners who exceed the four hour time limit. Finisher medals, t-shirts and completion certificates will be awarded only to those finishing within the four hour time limit.
